MEGA is an independent leasing company in Mexico, founded in 2003 and has been regulated by the CNMV and Banxico since 2016

The company focuses mainly on financial leases for high-value equipment for SMEs and small corporations. In addition, 24% of its portfolio is focused on the agricultural sector, mainly in protected agriculture (berries), which is sourced through strategic alliances with distributors companies for export.

MEGA’s agricultural portfolio of €165 million, is serving medium-sized producers and rural MSMEs excluded by commercial banks With the support of the Huruma Fund, MEGA aims to increase its agricultural portfolio to EUR 210 million by 2025.

MEGA offers specific loans for renewable energy, as well as financing irrigation systems that reduce water consumption through agricultural credit.
